Atelier
A studio is a non-residential unit, which in terms of equipment and standard corresponds to an apartment, but for several reasons, according to the building authority, it cannot be approved as an apartment.
The most common reason why the unit is not approved as a residential unit is excessive noise or insufficient lighting (lack of daylight). As according to the current legislation, the Atelier is not a residential unit, so it is not possible to register a permanent residence in it, however entrepreneurs can claim a VAT deduction for this unit.
The specified usable floor area refers to the internal floor area of all rooms excluding the floor area of all vertical load-bearing and non-load-bearing structures within the unit. Balconies, loggias, terraces, cellars, storage rooms, and similar spaces are also not included in the usable floor area. This defined term is in accordance with the definition provided by European Commission Regulation (EC) No 1503/2006.
The specified floor area refers to the internal floor area of all rooms within the unit, including the floor area of all vertical load-bearing and non-load-bearing structures within the unit. This is determined in accordance with the definition provided in Section 3 of Government Regulation No. 366/2013 Coll., dated October 30, 2013, on the adjustment of matters related to the co-ownership of units.
